August was a bit calmer than the previous month with no summer party, no conferences, and not even a tiny trip to Amsterdam! But we had a good month anyway. Manfred, a former colleague, now pensioner, made sure we had loads of ice cream for the summer (Thank you Manfred!), and we happily enjoyed it on our rooftop along with our iced coffee. (Yes, we are definitely spoiled!)
But we also wrote lots of good content for you! Three of our top-blogs were:
Collaboration with Nextcloud
Is Nextcloud just another cloud solution? Evidently not! Stefan let us in on the possibilities for collaboration with our Nextcloud, such as sharing within a team, working on the same project, and even for videoconferences and messaging.
Read about all the possibilities and test it for free!
Guacamole and Icinga Web 2
Guacamole?? What is it and what has it got to do with Icinga Web 2? Saeid first explained the basics, and then showed us how to get remote access to Linux and Windows systems in Icinga Web 2- with a little help from Guacamole!
Check it out!
Mattermost
What is this Mattermost that everyone is talking about? Leonie told us of this communications tool, which is not only great for internal communication in a company, but also for collaboration in projekts, and- great for IT companies- with loads of templates you can adjust to your wishes!
And the best part: You can test it for free for 30 days risk free!
But of course there was more than just those:
Katja thanked our stackconf sponsors and partners, Philipp taught us about the Openstack Traefik provider, Katja shared talks from last years´ OSMC, Feu reported from the Icinga Camp in Berlin, Katja announced that the stackconf archives are now online.
Isi reported that the HWgroup Ares 10 is no longer in production, Martin K. announced the release of Icinga Director branches, Patrick taught us how to Shellscript our own Little Free Intrusion Detection System with Detector OSS IDS.
In NETWAYS stellt sich vor you can get to know Marc R., Katja announced that the agenda for the DevOpsDays 2022 in Berlin is available and Julia cooked a lemony pasta dish in our blog series NETWAYS Chefs!
Last but not least Joshua let us know what’s new when you integrate other apps with your NWS Rocket.Chat. Just follow his step by step guide!
This was the NETWAYS Blog in August put in a nutshell for you. Hope you enjoyed the read and found new and interesting topics! See you in September!
