DevOpsDays are back to Berlin! And we at NETWAYS are happy to support it!

DevOpsDays Berlin cover topics of working together, software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. Call for Papers runs until July 31.

  • Have a great tale to tell about spreading DevOps to the rest of your company? We would like to hear that.
  • You live in or around Berlin and work in DevOps? We are very interested in the challenges and successes being experienced in our local area.
  • We want to hear all voices, including those that may speak less frequently at similar events. Speak up!

DevOpsDays feature a combination of curated talks, ignites and self organized Open Space content. There will also be some technical hands-on workshops.

Call for Papers for DevOpsDays Berlin

The DevOpsDays are coming back to Berlin! The Call for Papers is open! DevOpsDays Berlin will deal with topics around software development, systems administration, IT infrastructures and working together in the intersections inbetween. The Berlin Team is currently on the hunt for speakers. Papers can be submitted until July 15, 2019 via www.papercall.io/2019-berlin.

DevOpsDays feature a combination of curated talks, ignites and self organized Open Space content, and a row of technical workshops.

So: What topic could you talk about?

That is what the organizers suggest: „We at DevOpsDays Berlin do prefer cultural talks over technical talks. So if you have a hiring success story, can talk about diversity in Teams or Leadership, have a great tale to tell about spreading DevOps to the rest of the company – we would like to hear that.

On the other hand: We’re still engineers deep in our heart – so if you have some uncommon technical story to tell, we also like to hear from you. Please also think about submitting a Hands-On Workshop, if what you want to tell can also be shown to a broader audience.“

Although the event happens in Germany, the conference language is english. It will be hosted at the Kalkscheune, Johannisstr. 2, 10117 Berlin, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 and Thursday, November 28, 2019.

What happened in the NETWAYS Shop?

The New of AKCP: Battery Temp Sensor (BTTS) . Time to celebrate! Our NETWAYS Monitor – Silke. The brand new software version 3.32 of SMS Eagle is here! Callback URL, Autoreply, SMS forwarding, and more. Silke shared her best autumn- tips: „Wir haben aufgeräumt und aufgestockt! Neues Gude Sortiment steht im Shop zur Verfügung“ (We have lots of new products from Gude in our online shop!)

What Thomas said???  Jennifer reports on DevOpsDays Berlin 2018,  „Warum ist das jetzt wichtig und was hat das mit IT zu tun?“ Weg mit dem Schrott: Müll im Weltraum – says Marius. (Store the garbage in space?).  Michael released GitLab training v2.3.0 which includes bug fixes and new features. He also updated the material and tagged v2.3.0 .  Aleksander (our new trainee) has got some news on „Ubuntu 18.04 LTS„. Michael told us about the days away with his fellow developers at the „Franconian Alps“ #DEV Retreat 2018 Recap
