Let’s talk about OS Monitoring

Announcement of the worldwide leading event on Open Source monitoring on November 5 to 8, 2018 in Nuremberg.
We invite masterminds, system engineers, developers, network engineers and all others with OS enthusiasm to be a speaker! If you are interested, send over your proposal for OSMC by June 30, 2018.
Participants will have a chance to absorb latest know-how on OS monitoring, to get inspired by experts and space to interact with fellow members from the OS community. This is the special thing about the Open Source Monitoring Conference and what it’s known worldwide for.

The OSBConf is designed for researching and analysing the best and latest open source software solutions for data backup – including sharing newest development, conveying strategic knowledge and presenting practical reports.

  2. Real world implementation – do you think your ideas and thoughts can be implemented? if you do, then the OSBConf is the right place to share your thoughts with people from the open source community
  3. Solution for improvement – do you think there are better solutions for the existing systems?
  4. OS backup solutions – do you know of the latest development related to OS backup applications such as Bareos, Rear and Amanda?
  5. Exchange ideas – do you enjoy meeting new people and exchanging experiences with fellow open source enthusiasts?

Open Source Backup Conference – Why you should submit a talk!

The call for papers for the Open Source Backup Conference from September 25 to September 26 is still running until June 30.
Interested Speakers are invited to submit their presentation proposals via the call for papers form ob osbconf.org.
What kind of talks are we searching for?
Case Studies, Best Practices, Experience Reports as well as latest developments on open source backup solutions
What affects our decision for a talk?
It should bring a real benefit for the attendees, it should not be a promotion lecture
What awaits you in Cologne?
Two days full of open source backup solutions, meeting the open source community and spreading your know how to the other attendees!

Call for Papers for the OSBConf is open!

Until June 30, all interested speakers are invited to submit their proposals for a talk via the conference website at www.osbconf.org.
There’s an experience or some latest developments you’d like to share with other open source enthusiasts?
We’re searching for technical talks with a real benefit for our participants such as latest developments related to BAREOS and BACULA, as well as user experiences, case studies, best practices and tools.
The Europe-wide leading Open Source Backup Conference will take place in Cologne for the 9th time and focuses on Open Source Backup Software.
The OSBConf is the ideal platform to gain latest know how and to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments on open source backup software.
On September 25, there will be three in-depht workshops on the topics „Puppet“, „Bareos Introduction“ and „Scripting Bareos“. In the evening, there’ll be a relaxed evening event to meet each other.
We would be happy if you submit a talk and become part of the Open Source Backup Conference 2017.
