This year’s Open Source Monitoring Conference will take place from November 14 – 16 in Nuremberg and our preparations are already in full swing. For the three-day event that focusses on open source monitoring solutions we’re currently looking for experts who are ready to share their know-how in this area.

As an OSMC speaker you have a wide range of possible speaking opportunities. Presentations that focus on a comprehensive technical insight are very appreciated. Although the conference will be held in English and German, we particularly prefer english presentations.

About your Lecture

As an OSMC speaker you have a choice of three different lecture formats: 5-, 30- or 60-minutes to talk. Depending on your personal preference, feel free to choose the one that suits you best!

Be a speaker!

You’re an expert in monitoring solutions with great news to spread? What about contributing to OSMC 2021 as a speaker? Use the chance to proof yourself as an Open Source specialist and share your know-how in front of a big audience of like-minded people.

Submit a talk!

Your lecture should be technical. Give us some insights into new topics or Open Source pojects, talk about technical backgrounds, the latest developments, new features and techniques or present how-tos, case studies, best practices as well as future trends and perspectives to the community.

Choose the presentation format that suits you best!

MEDIUDM LECTURE

Talk 30 minutes if you like to put things in a nutshell and keep it short and simple.

FULL LECTURE

Talk 60 minutes if your findings require more time, or you want to integrate a live demonstration.

OSDC 2014: Der Countdown läuft – nur noch 148 Tage

Jan-Piet Mens hat heute die Ehre unseren wöchentlichen Countdown zur OSDC 2014 zu eröffnen. In seinem Vortrag „Ansible: configuration management doesn’t have to be complicated“ von der OSDC 2013, zeigt er uns was selbst non-roots mit Ansible so alles machen können.

OSDC? Noch nie gehört…
Das ist aber schade und fast schon ein unentschuldbares Versäumnis!
Aber wir holen das nach:
Die Open Source Data Center Conference (kurz OSDC) ist unsere internationale Konferenz zum Thema Open Source Software in Rechenzentren und großen IT-Umgebungen. 2014 findet sie zum sechsten Mal statt und bietet mit dem Schwerpunktthema Agile Infrastructures ganz besonders erfahrenen Administratoren und Architekten ein Forum zum Austausch und die Gelegenheit zur Aneignung des aktuellsten Know-Hows für die tägliche Praxis. Diesmal treffen wir uns dafür in Berlin!
Workshops am Vortag der Konferenz und das im Anschluss an die Veranstaltung stattfindende Puppet Camp komplettieren dabei das Rundum-sorglos-Paket für Teilnehmer, die gar nicht genug Wissen in sich aufsaugen können.
