PostgreSQL is the database of choice for e.g. Atlasssian products Confluence & Jira, PuppetDB and others, as well as a supported option as backend for Icinga 2.

Our PostgreSQL training is aimed at DBAs/DBOs/Sysadmins who are primarily interested in stable, low-maintenance operation of a PostgreSQL database that offers them very good performance and availability. Prerequisite is a reasonably confident handling of UN*X-like systems. Shell & vi should not scare you away. Basic RDBMS and SQL knowledge is not a hindrance, but also not mandatory.
At the end of the course you will be able to set up a PostgreSQL installation yourself that meets all the usual requirements for a stable OLTP database environment and will please you thanks to a low maintenance effort.
