Fundamentals for Puppet | Configuration Management
Puppet has become a quasi standard for configuration management due to its simple programming language, and the broad support by producers and community. In this training, the participants learn (about) the fundamental working behind the Puppet abstraction layer, how the Puppet-modules are built, and their development from a local prototype into a deployment on the puppet master.
The training will also concentrate on using the Puppet forge-modules and adds a graphical surface to the surroundings for surveillance. Hereby the participants learn about the renewals in Puppet 4, and get to know the differences between the Puppet-Server and the Puppet-Master, and get to know the PuppetDB

The training is designed for administrators with profound Linux knowledge, who are in need of a solution to configure their IT-landscape centrally. And also for new employees in companies, in which Puppet is already in use.
To ensure an aim-oriented and efficient realization of this training the number of participants is limited. This enables an intense examination of the course content and the opportunity to settle individual questions and problems.
The exchange between the participants is of particular importance for us. This is also the reason why all participants are invited to dinner so that a lot of scope for discussions and exchange of experience is allowed between the participants outside the workshop hours.
