This course is intended for administrators who are responsible for data backup in a network. It is particularly suitable for participants who are willing to take part in the seminar with specific requirements and who need support in implementing their business requirements or optimizing their backup strategy. Therefore, there is a flexible time quota to implement specific requirements of the participants in group work.
Participants should already have completed the Bareos Administration Level 1 training and have sufficient Linux knowledge. The safe handling of a terminal emulator (KDE console or GNOME terminal) and one of the text editors like vi, emacs or gedit is essential. Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL) is an advantage.
To ensure an aim-oriented and efficient realization of this training the number of participants is limited. This enables an intense examination of the course content and the opportunity to settle individual questions and problems.
The exchange between the participants is of particular importance for us. This is also the reason why all participants are invited to dinner so that a lot of scope for discussions and exchange of experience is allowed between the participants outside the workshop hours.
