DevOpsDays Berlin 2024 | Submit your Talk

Call for Papers

The organizers of this year’s DevOpsDays Berlin are still looking for speakers to provide an amazing lecture program. Their Call for Papers is open until January 31. You’re welcomed to submit your talk as the organizers are seeking presentations in English that focus on experiences and best practices related to the DevOps culture, along with topics covering automation, testing, security, and organizational culture.

There are two different talk formats you can choose from:

  • 30-Minute Talk: Presented during the conference, typically in the morning.
  • Ignite Talk: A five-minute presentation with 20 slides that change every 15 seconds.

If you’re interested in leading a group discussion during the attendee-suggested Open Space breakout sessions, there’s no need to propose it ahead of time; you can contribute on-site.

About DevOpsDays

DevOpsDays is a global series of technical conferences that delve into software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. Organized entirely by local volunteers, each event is a collaborative effort that brings together professionals and enthusiasts from the respective region. This year’s DevOpsDays in Berlin will take place on May 7 & 8. The event combines curated talks and self-organized open space content.

Icinga Camp Berlin: Call for Papers is open

It’s time to spread some monitoring love! The next Icinga Camp will take place in Berlin on May 17, 2023 and you’re invited to join the event. This is your chance to share your newest findings, best practices, and Icinga expert know-how with the community. And to get back the well-deserved kudos and for sure some valuable feedback!

Don’t be shy to say hi and get on stage

The Call for Papers is open until end of February. Submit your abstract for a 30- or 45-minute presentation on your technical topic, your specific use case or new, future-oriented developments. Be a speaker and inspire others with the benefits Icinga brings to your organization or project!

Icinga Camps are the perfect platform to learn new things and share knowledge. Icinga developers, community members and enterprise users come together to discuss the latest monitoring trends and share their best practices with Icinga.

Check out  the European tech conference for open source infrastructure solutions in the spectrum of agile methods, continuous integration, container, hybrid and cloud technologies.

Choose your format

There are three possible formats for your talk:

  • IGNITE TALK | Five minutes to talk accompanied by 20 slides, 15 seconds each.
  • MEDIUM TALK | The short lecture format limited to 30 minutes, including a Q&A session.
  • FULL TALK | The long lecture format of 45 minutes, including a Q&A session.

OSCamp on Foreman: Submit your Paper!

Together with Red Hat we call out for papers for the second Open Source Camp in 2019. We are looking for presentations on advanced topics around the Lifecycle-Management-Software Foreman. The Call for Papers is open until August 31.

We are looking for presentations that give a comprehensive technical insight into Foreman and offer advanced administrators new ideas to even more easily automate repetitive tasks, deploy applications, and proactively manage servers. Each presentation is scheduled for 30 minutes, plus a 5 to 10-minute Q&A session.

After OSMC

OSCamp #4 takes place directly after the lecture program of the Open Source Monitoring Conference (OSMC) on November 7, 2019 in Nuremberg.

Oh my gosh, OSMC CFP ending soon! Share your expertise

We are looking for insights into new topics or Open Source projects, technical backgrounds, latest developments, new features and techniques, how-tos, case studies and best practices.

Speakers can choose between three formats: The Full Talk (60 minutes), the Medium Talk (30 minutes) and the Ignite Talk (5 minutes). The conference will be held in English and German. Presentations in English are particularly welcome.
