Das bieten die Deutschen OpenStack Tage

Cloud Computing ist die Lösung für flexibles und effizientes IT-Management – ob als dezentrale Datenablage oder Plattform für unterschiedliche Systeme. Die Deutschen OpenStack Tage (DOST) haben sich in den vergangenen Jahren als wegweisende Fachkonferenz rund um den Einsatz von Open Infrastructure und Storage Lösungen wie Kubernetes, Ceph, Docker und OpenStack etabliert.

Neben einem umfangreichen Vortragsprogramm bieten die DOST zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, sich in Sachen Open Infrastructure weiter zu bilden und mit Vertretern der Branche in Kontakt zu treten.

Vier ganztägige Workshops am 24. September 2019 bilden den Auftakt der Konferenz.

  • Übe im Kubernetes Workshop die Grundlagen der Container-Orchestrierung.
  • Erfahre im Ansible Workshop, wie Du einfache Aufgaben oder komplexe Deployments automatisierst und eine eigene Sammlung nützlicher Playbooks erstellst.
  • Lerne im OpenStack Workshop die Grundlagen des Cloud Computings und die Elemente der OpenStack-Architektur und deren Benutzung kennen.
  • Erarbeite Dir im Ceph Workshop die Grundlagen und Eigenschaften eines Software Defined Storage (SDS).

Knüpfe neue Kontakte

Die begleitende Sponsorenausstellung bietet die Möglichkeit, mit Vertreter*innen namhafter Unternehmen ins Gespräch zu kommen und neue Kontakte zu knüpfen. In diesem Jahr mit dabei sind unter anderem Ubuntu, Rancher, Suse, Telekom, Noris Networks und B1.

DevOpsDays are back to Berlin! And we at NETWAYS are happy to support it!

DevOpsDays Berlin cover topics of working together, software development, IT infrastructure operations, and the intersection between them. Call for Papers runs until July 31.

  • Have a great tale to tell about spreading DevOps to the rest of your company? We would like to hear that.
  • You live in or around Berlin and work in DevOps? We are very interested in the challenges and successes being experienced in our local area.
  • We want to hear all voices, including those that may speak less frequently at similar events. Speak up!

OSDC 2019: Unique views and phenomenal people

When you entered the big, luminous lobby at MOA Hotel Berlin your eyes catched it right away: OSDC‘s pink counter. Behind it either Markus or Lukas from the NETWAYS Events Team welcoming you to the conference, always ready to answer your hardest questions on rooms, rumors, food and all you need to know at OSDC. Thanks to these two guys we‘ve had the pleasure to enjoy a phenomenal conference!

What we’ve done

We‘ve heard tons of entertaining and informative technical talks. We‘ve exchanged thoughts and ideas. We’ve watched demos and fireworks. We got new stickers, job opportunities and insights into our business partners‘ stacks, workflows and findings. Not to forget about meeting old pals and making new friends.

Inbetween the two-day program Markus and Lukas placed a special treat. What would Berlin be without the Spree? Locals and tourists love its urban flair. And that we enjoyed in one of the best possible ways: on board of the restaurant ship Patio. We‘ve had sundowner drinks on deck, followed by delicious dinner and drinks combined with a unique view and the feeling of being on the water. Can you imagine a better place to socialize?
