Weekly Snap: On board the OSBF with Puppet and football

Jan 11-15 brought a few new developments from new board membership to Puppet training and client football clubs.
Just recently, Julian was elected board member of the Open Source Business Foundation (OSBF) – the European business network for open source. With over 150 members of renowned software and IT service providers, universities and more, the OSBF has grown impressively since its beginnings in 2006 as the Linux Business Campus Nuremberg. A proud member all along, Julian will take lead on their website project group.
Within a week Birger shared two projects from the consulting team, touching health and football. First a visit to public healthcare provider Gesundheit Nordhessen Holding AG, to attend to MySQL, Oracle and MSSQL monitoring with customised Nagios. Second a short rendezvous in Osnabruck with Oracle and SAP monitoring, buw and a fresh football club.
To top it off, Manuela announced new NETWAYS trainings with Nagios for newbies (15-18 March) and a special first: Puppet Training with Reductive Labs, direct from the horse’s mouth. Scheduled for 20-22 April, the course will be held in English and for the first time in Germany. So for real Puppet mastery, we recommend you get in quick.
