NagiosQL 3 - News about the upcoming Nagios 3 compatible Webadministration

NagiosQL is one of the first and still active webbased Open Source Nagios Administration Tool for Nagios. QL offers an easy, but complex Webinterface with a MySQL Database in the background to store all the Nagios configuration files. The scope of NagiosQL is to be as close to the Nagios specifications as possbile. With the upcoming 3.0 release (we are currently in a closed beta stage) we will introduce several new features and of course Nagios 3 compatiblity. We will go through the most important features and news about the release. For everyone interested we will provide all attendees with the current beta version one month before we go live with the final release.

Rouven Homann Rouven gained his first experience with Nagios in 2002. He is currently working as an IT-Consultant for the cimt ag. In the meanwhile he released several Open Source Nagios Plugins and joined the NagiosQL project in June 2005 as co-developer and was mostly involved in Software Change- & Configuration Management processes for NagiosQL. Recently he focused his work in managing the NagiosQL3 development processes, establishing a multi-language functionality and developing some other bits and peaces of the code. In his spare time he is writing news articles about different Open Source projects.
