OSDC 2009 Conference Call for Papers

Free speaker participation

Once your speaker arrangements are finalized, all attendee fees will be waived. This includes the following benefits (Conference Package SILVER):

  • Attendance at all presentations and tutorials
  • Casual networking dinner & drinks event (29th April)
  • Refreshments during the morning and afternoon breaks
  • Lunch on both of the conference days
  • WiFi access during the conference
  • Access to LINUX Magazin Streaming archive, after the conference
  • 2 nights accommodation (28th-30th April) including breakfast at the conference hotel
  • Additional welcome dinner on the evening before the conference (28th April)


In addition you will naturally have the opportunity to introduce your company and product or project to the conference audience.

If you are interested in attending the OSDC 2009 conference regardless of being a speaker, please first ensure your place by additionally registering as an attendee. Once your speaker arrangements are finalized, all attendee fees will be waived.

  • Speeches: approx 60 mins
  • Workshop (short): 2 hours        
  • Workshop (long): 4 hours

Guidelines

Submission and conduct guidelines for presentations and workshops at the OSDC 2009 Conference:

  1. All thematic software must be freely available for download and therefore meet GPL requirements.
  2. Presentations and workshops accepted for this conference are strictly educational. Content of promotional nature will not be accepted.
  3. Presentations are expected to be approximately 60 minutes long; short workshops 2 hours; long workshops 4 hours long.
  4. To ensure diversity and appeal to a varied audience, NETWAYS reserves the right to review and select presentations.
