A progamme committee has been formed this year to ensure as balanced a programme as possible.
The committee is responsible for selecting the speech topics, arranging speakers, and reviewing the applications made via Call for Papers.
| Wolfgang BarthWolfgang Barth is author of the first Nagios book. He looks after VMS, Digital UNIX (Tru64), SunOS/Solaris, IBM AIX and HP-UX systems. For him Linux is the logical next-step in the development of UNIX.
In his book "Nagios" he helps beginners and experienced users with the configuration of Nagios. His current project is a Nagios Live CD.

| Markus KöstersMarkus Kösters works for the "Bundestelle für Informationstechnik(BIT)", the German federal IT provider, as a system administrator. His knowledge of UNIX and open source, gleaned from many years experience managing heterogeneous system environments, has proved itself repeatedly. As part of the ITIL rollout he lead the "Incident Management" subteam, whose tasks included introducing a comprehensive monitoring system. This was implemented with Nagios and other open-source tools. |
| Jörg LingeJörg Linge has been employed as the UNIX system administrator for a large publishing house in Kassel for over 10 years. His primary job involves managing the UNIX servers and monitoring the system with Nagios. In his free time he moderates the German Nagios Forum, is a co-organizer of the Nagios community workshops, and codes for his PNP grapher project. |
| Torsten HaaseThorsten Haase is a member of the System Management Team of "VR Kreditwerk Hamburg- Schwäbisch Hall". As Systems Administrator he is working on Mainframe Automation and manages a current project, in which an existing monitoring solution is getting replaced by Nagios. |
