NoMa - NETWAYS Notification Manager for Nagios

Noma is an easy to expand, extensive notifications and alerts manager for Nagios, based online and off a database. Manage your notifications and contacts for Nagios through a web interface and also easily forward them onto where you require.

Authentication: NoMa supports LDAP, Active Directory, and HTTP authentication. In addition, users can also be saved in the NoMa database removing the need for any external authentications. With this flexibility, NoMa can be easily integrated into both large and small environments.

Web interface: Notifications, contacts and contact groups can be created and edited via the NoMa online front end. Each notification is stored in a database and can be followed on the user interface’s log viewer.

Escalations: NoMa supports both method and contact escalation, ensuring that alerts are received at the right time and the right place.

Plug-ins and interfaces: Due to the modular design of NoMa, notification plug-ins can be quickly and easily integrated into an existing system. The loose coupling between Noma and Nagios enables quick integration with very few procedures. And with NDOUtils, a preview of an affected host and services can even be configured immediately.

This modular design also enables messages from third party systems to be processed according to pre-configured alert rules. Finally, a current overview is always available on the central interface.
