In redesigning its IT services management, the German federal agency for Information Technology employed NETWAYS to support the installation of an organisation wide open source Systems monitoring solution – Nagios. In addition, NETWAYS developed a web based Monitoring Information Portal which could expand and simplify the operation of Nagios monitoring. The result was a customised system to meet the federal agency’s special needs for web information retrieval and capacity for a multitude of users.

For the Upper Swabian Clinic NETWAYS was called in to renovate what was at the time a manual, randomly deployed system and interface monitoring process into an active and constant monitoring system with minimal reaction time loss and yet a maximum cost-benefit outcome. NETWAYS delivered on every requisite and installed Nagios.

'Improving user satisfaction while reducing costs’ – This was the mission of Linde AG, the leading refrigeration company in introducing a network monitoring system. And with the support of NETWAYS, this was achieved in the shortest time ever.

In just 8 weeks Netways supported T-Systems to install Nagios into T-System’s massive networks, in their Internet Services and Data Centers at Kiel and Magdeburg. The open source monitoring system handles approx. 4,000 network devices with greater flexibility and security for a fraction of the price.
